When Jed receives mysterious texts telling him to save Kate he travels to newly-renovated Bedlam Heights to tackle the ghosts of the former asylum's dark past. Kate, who together with her father Warren is running the apartment complex, has been wearing a ring that has disturbed the ghost of a former asylum inmate. The ghost is hell-bent on punishing whoever wears it. Meanwhile, a tenant named Ryan is grappling with what seems to be a different ghost.
